I was with USAA for banking since 2013, but was considering switching banks in mid-2023. There's nothing *wrong* with USAA's banking platform - solid bank, but not much in incentives to stay there. Interest rate sucks (like it does with most brick & mortars), no great features, etc. I checked Ally and then heard about SoFi.

I can only think of two reasons that caused my online account to be unavailable. One, I changed the email to the online banking account recently, so the system may have recognized it as an account being compromised. Two, it may be recognized as a fraud because I made a purchase with my Bank of America credit card through PayPal for $7.99.
